Self-Development and Counseling was Crucial to Understanding Why I got Ghosted

The previous blogs I have written have centered on the recent, now not so recent, ghosting experience I went through with ‘Luke’. The reason I feel so compelled to write about this is the lack of stories that talk about the painful experiences many go through while dating. There’s a bunch of ‘tips’ and ‘tricks’ on how to make yourself seem more attractive, but there’s not much (that I have found) on the struggles of dating today.

My gut keeps telling to keep sharing about this experience, and the lessons I have learned. The reality is, not as many people as I would like to think or wish, go to counseling, read self-development books, try to learn how to communicate better. Many young individuals like me, still get most of their dating advice from mass/social media. Which is probably the worst place to get this kind of information.

So I wanted to emphasize these blogs on some crucial lessons, as well as the work that has gone behind the scenes to help others understand that if they are struggling to date, it’s normal. If they’re being treated in a way that their gut tells them they shouldn’t be, to stand up and…
