Why Do Friendship Break-ups Happen and How to Move On?

The answer I'm going to give you may not be what you expected.

I'm not here to give you an oversimplistic how-to list on getting over a friendship breakup.

First, I will tell you why I believe it happens, and second, there's no way to skip the grieving process. You must go through it.

Don't Let Your Heart be Hardened.

This year began a season in my life where God helped me face some very challenging situations, a.k.a various friendship breakups.

I never thought some of them would come to pass because promises were made by people who said they wouldn't allow difficult situations to get in between our love for one another.

But it's true when they say you have no idea how a person will react when faced with a particular challenge.

I never expected some friendships to end so quickly, but they did.

I don't know if I handled things poorly or if the pain of a difficult situation was too much to bear.
