There's a saying that goes "it takes a whole village" might be a song too, anyways, my point is that no one becomes who they are or acquires things or a certain level of success on their own. We as humans don't live in a vacuum where things happen to us or we make decisions that are completely independent of others and their circumstances. Every decision that we make, past, present or future, has a ripple effect into others' lives. We are already aware that decisions we make today could have an impact of years into the future. How come some people don't realize the same principle also proves in becoming successful? I know I certainly did not get to where I am without the immense help of my parents, family, mentors, government, etc. The list is actually pretty long. We should be proud of all of our accomplishments but also recognize that we could have NEVER come this far on our own.
