It’s another day in the neighborhood…

Actually, I’m in my mom’s neighborhood, which is where I lived for the first two years after I moved to this country (Queens, New York).

I won’t lie; I miss it dearly.

If you’re from Queens or grew up in Queens, there’s just something about the hustle and bustle of this borough.

Also, the vast diversity of people and the mix of urban and rural areas — I loved it growing up here.

I hope one of these days I can come back.

I currently live not too far from here, which is nice because I get to visit as much as I want, but I really hope to come back one day and get a chance to live here again.

Ah, all the plans and ideas I have for the future…

That’s something that from time to time tends to overwhelm me — all the dreams, aspirations, desires, ambitions, etc., that I find myself constantly daydreaming about.

If I get too carried away with them, I start feeling like my current life isn’t good enough — those are some dangerous waters to tread.

I believe that’s a pretty common thought among people my age (millennials and younger, and probably older people, too).
