Knowing what you want rather than what the world tells you you should pursue is so freeing. I was there not too long ago, twenty two with an MBA and no job prospects in sight. Six years later, I work as a bartender/server part time and write on the side and I’m content with that. I live by myself and have everything I need in this moment. I am striving for more but I am not killing myself trying to climb a corporate ladder. Being laid off twice made me realize how unreliable employers are. And how there’s so many other ways to reach your goals besides working a 9-5. Thanks for sharing!
