I’ll give examples from my experience with YouTube since that’s the social media platform I’m currently focusing on.
On another blog, I shared how I’ve gained over 100 subscribers on my YouTube channel with just a few videos.
This may seem like a dismal number, but let’s be honest: at one point or another, the biggest channels and YouTubers we know also started with zero subscribers.
I’m at the very beginning of my YouTube journey, and I want to share (in real-time) the progress I’m making so that anyone who is wondering how to grow a YouTube channel from scratch can find applicable and helpful information.
Now, let’s get into what I’ve been doing to grow a genuine following on YouTube.
Be AUTHENTIC.
This is where good and great content comes from (and content that will set you apart from other content creators — your ‘edge’).
Be authentic, be you, and talk about the things that interest you.
This is how you create longevity, which is key to remaining consistent on any platform.
