A.I. Has *Ruined* Medium.
At least for me, it has…
I don’t have a ton of experience writing on the Internet.
Medium is the only place I publish my writing, and I’m keeping to one platform on purpose.
I don’t want to overwhelm myself by creating content on multiple platforms because I’m already very busy with my full-time job, YouTube, and everyday errands and life.
Adding another platform or content creation outlet would become the straw that might break the camel’s back.
I’ve already experienced burnout (earlier this year), and this would certainly lead me down that path again.
But let me not get carried away…
A.I. sucks for one reason, no one on Medium wants anything to do with it, especially publications.
Publications used to be known for helping your blogs and articles get better views and overall engagement (which may not be the case anymore — I addressed this in another blog).
But since the rise of AI (Chat GPT and other AI writing tools), more and more people are creating and publishing written content.
The problem with A.I. blogs is that they’re very poorly written.
